Statement after meeting of Presidency Trio with Commissioner Rehn

The presidency Trio (France, Czech Republic, Sweden) met EU Enlargement Commissioner Olli Rehn on Wednesday night.

The participants - Czech Deputy Prime Minister Alexandr Vondra, Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt and French Ambassador to the EU Pierre Sellal - expressed support for the ongoing efforts to move forward Croatia´s accession negotiations with the EU. They shared serious concern regarding the current situation and clearly indicated that further progress was expected in view of the upcoming Intergovernmental Conference with Croatia scheduled for April 24.
